The Spir Star hoses are composed by a strong internal tube, many high-tensite steel wire layers and a Polyamide (PA) outer cover. This combination, added to a single wire strenghened, resulting in aflexible hose, which has the following properties:

Series

SPIR STAR offers 9 series of hoses, specifically designed to different industrial requirements, as well as for Offshore applications.

• 2 and 3 series
Used for cleaning of tubing for heat exchanger and supply hose. Lightweight and flexible, with excellent chemical resistance. These hoses are resistant and durable with high burst pressure and bending. The internal diameters ranging from 1 / 8 to 1 ", with pressures of 5,000 psi (350 bar) to 17,400 psi (1,200 bar).

• 2K and 2W series
2K series and 2W are used for hydraulic tools, test pressure and umbilical Offshore. They are lighter and more flexible with low volumetric expansion and excellent resistance to external pressure. Hoses durable and resistant to high pressures of collapse and folding. The internal diameters ranging from 1 / 8 to 1 "with working pressures of 5,800 psi (400 bar) to 20,000 (1,380 bar).

• 4 series
Extremely versatile, designed for critical conditions, in applications such as hydraulic torque tools, hidrojato systems and industrial testing. The internal diameters ranging from 1 / 8 to 3 / 4 "with pressures of work of 14,500 psi (1,000 bar) to 31,000 psi (2,140 Bar).

• 5mm UHP serie(Ultra-High Pressure)
Developed for pressures up to 3,200 bar, 5 mm internal diameter, were designed to hidrojateamento, conformations and water testing laboratories.

• 6 and 6H series
Offer excellent security and flexibility in applications under conditions of extreme pressure. Are widely used in Hidrojato, Jets cutting and hydrostatic tests. The series 6 and 6H hoses have internal diameters of 1 / 8 to 3 / 4 "and working pressures of 20,000 psi (1,380 bar) to 40,600 psi (2,800 bar).

• 6mm UHP series
Pressure of work up to 46,400 psi - Reduces the pressure drop through the internal diameter greater than the conventional UHP hoses.

• 8 serie
For extremely high pressures, are designed to waterblasting cutting, hydraulic conformations and testing laboratories. The hose 8 series are available with internal diameters of 4mm and 8mm, with pressures of 46,400 psi (3,200 bar) to 40,000 (2,760 bar) respectively.
